Let me introduce myself. My name is Karen Murray and I identify as a hairdresser.

I am a Master Stylist. Most of my experience and training has been in Canada, but I've also traveled to the U.S and Europe to study. I’ve worked with other masters throughout the years and still reach out to mentors on a regular basis.

In the summer of 2021, my husband and I made the decision to move to Lake Country. We had been commuting back and forth between our homes in Victoria and Salt Spring Island for years and decided it would be a great adventure to settle down together in one place. And what an adventure it's been! We’ve had our hands full making this house our home.

Hair is definitely a passion for me. I focus on a classic contemporary style and work with natural looks that are most flattering for my guests and their lifestyle.

Art in general is a passion. Working in a room with great music, surrounded by beautiful artwork, and doing hair is a great way to spend the day.
